Fantastic Four Reboot Pushed Back
Fantastic Four is a reboot of a franchise that, well, most people haven’t really asked for. Perhaps it’s because the original movies weren’t well received or maybe it’s just reboot-fatigue, but there has been far less excitement surrounding the film than for the many, many, many other superhero movies that are in production. 20th Century Fox may fall into the same trap that the recent Spider-Man

We were treated to an advanced screening of The Guest, the new suspense-thriller from the creators of You’re Next. Here’s what we thought.
Alexander Tuesday’s Review
First of all, let me just say I went to see this movie without even knowing anything about it. I was invited to see the movie by Drewtos. I actually enjoyed it. It is pretty funny and entertaining, It was like an old 80s film with a American Psycho feeling. I do have a few issues with this movie, though. One of them being the pacing of the movie’s main story. The story takes a while to develop. There are some other issues, but I kinda want to keep this spoiler free. I recommend this movie as a Netflix night kinda movie.
The Guest was surprisingly pretty good. I never saw any of the writer and director’s previous work which includes You’re Next and segments in the V/H/S films, so I had no idea what to expect. The Guest is very suspenseful and includes commendable performances, especially from Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens. The suspense in the film remains throughout, but dissipates towards the end as it becomes an action/horror flick, plagued with a action/horror tropes.
Overall, I enjoyed this this movie and would recommend catching a cheap matinee with a friend. Also, the soundtrack is amazing.
The Guest hits U.S. theaters September 17th, 2014.
