Actor, comedian, and rapper Donald Glover (Community) has been cast as the voice of Mile Morales, the Spider-Man of Marvel’s “Ultimate” universe. He will be featured in an upcoming episode of Disney XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man.
This is a pretty interesting casting decision considering Donald Glover had originally inspired writer Brian Michael Bendis to create Miles Morales back in 2011. Plus, Donald Glover is just awesome and should be a great fit for the character. This isn’t Glover’s first attempt at voice acting either, having voiced the character Marshall Lee on Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time.
