BLU-NEWS: ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’
David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is currently set to release on DVD and blu-ray March 20th. According to Blu-ray.com, the blu-ray release will include an Ultraviolet Digital Copy.
Also, in addition to director’s commentary, BleedingCool reported yesterday the blu-ray will feature over 4 hours of bonus material, with confirmation from producer David Prior. Here is the full list:

If BleedingCool is correct than that is a f*ck-load of special features to watch. Also, while searching online I came across two different cover designs for the U.S. release, so I’m not sure whether or not the image above represents the final cover design. As more details come though, I will keep you updated, but as for right now I will say lovers of great movies should look forward to this release. It truly is a great piece of film making.

New ‘Dredd’ Images
New images have surfaced of Karl Urban as Judge Dredd and Olivia Thirlby as Judge Anderson from director Pete Travis’ upcoming movie, Dredd, based on the Judge Dredd comics created by John Wagner.
With huge firearms drawn, the film’s stars — specifically Anderson — can be seen sentencing some bad dudes to head-splattery death. You can scope out the potentially NSFW (bloody violence, ya dig?) stills [above]. (ComicsAlliance)
Dredd is currently set to release in theaters September 21st.

The Amazing Spider-Man [New Trailer]
Sony Pictures has released a brand new trailer for Marc Webb’s upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.(IMDb)
The trailer shows us a better look at Spider-Man’s costume, which looks amazing, and gives us a glimpse at his much needed witty and sarcastic attitude. Also, there are a few shots of Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) in both human and Lizard form. I think the CGI on The Lizard looks impressive from this trailer, but we weren’t given enough footage to make a full judgement.
The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in theaters in IMAX3D and RealD3D, July 3rd. With the release of The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, and The Avengers, summer 2012 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated summers in recent years.

New Image & Plot Details from ‘Riddick 3’
A new image of Vin Diesel reprising his role as Riddick, for the third live-action installment in the Riddick Saga, has surfaced online, as well as some official plot details:
The infamous Riddick (Diesel) has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy. (CinemaBlend)
Currently in production, Vin Diesel will join actors Jordi Molla (Bad Boys 2) and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica).

New Set Photos for ‘Django Unchained’
Actor Garret Dillahunt recently tweeted a few pics from his visit to the set of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Spaghetti Western Southern, Django Unchained, filming at the famous Santa Clarita Melody Ranch.
I can’t wait til we see a first trailer for this. It’s been three years since Inglourious Basterds and I’ve been dying for a Tarantino fix. Django Unchained will feature a pretty decent cast including Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sacha Baron Cohen, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Kerry Washington and Christoph Waltz. Taking place in the U.S. South during the 1800s, Jamie Foxx will play Django, a freed slave who with the help of his mentor (Christoph Waltz) sets out to rescue his wife from an evil plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Django Unchained his currently set to release in theaters on December 25th, 2012.

SKYFALL - First Official Image
Yesterday, the first official image for the latest James Bond film Skyfall was released. Returning as James Bond, Daniel Craig joins an all-star cast including, Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men), Ralph Fiennes (The ‘Harry Potter’ Saga), and of course, Judi Dench as M.
Skyfall will be written by previous James Bond writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and also John Logan (Hugo), and will be directed by Sam Mendes (Road To Perdition).
So far all of the names attached and the gritty-looking Bond we see up top are making me very excited to see this. I was extremely pleased with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace so I’m glad Daniel Craig will be back at it again this November.
