Two new TV spots for Prometheus: watch now
Prometheus has released a pair of new TV spots, in which a little more is revealed of what Noomi Rapace and her team discover on their spacebound mission of discovery.
The new spots are largely made up of footage we’ve already seen, but there are a couple more glimpses of the creatures blithely referred to by Rapace as “engineers”, including something with a worrying number of tentacles…

‘The Cabin in the Woods’ Spoiler-Free Review
The Cabin in the Woods is a new horror film written by Joss Whedon (Firefly, Astonishing X-Men #1-24) and co-written and directed by Drew Goddard (Cloverfield -writer). Last night I had the pleasure of seeing this, so if you haven’t seen it yet here is a short spoiler-free review.
First, here is an obscure synopsis from IMDb:
Five friends go for a break at a remote cabin in the woods, where they get more than they bargained for. Together, they must discover the truth behind the cabin in the woods.
I wanted to make this review short and spoiler-free because there are so many great and original ideas in The Cabin in the Woods and I would hate it if anyone knew about them before they saw the movie. From the trailer viewers can already see that this is not a typical horror movie, but if you haven’t seen the trailer I would say to just avoid it, see the movie, and be even more surprised than I was when I watched it.
So, as you can probably tell, I loved this movie. If you are a horror movie fan then I truly think you will love it, also. The horror is solid, the characters are well developed, and there is a lot of humor in it that only a man like Joss Whedon can provide. So, basically horror movie fans and Joss Whedon fans should definitely get a kick out of this. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I don’t want to go into it anymore than that.
Don’t watch this trailer!
