The Legend of Korra - Book 1, Chapter 4: The Voice in the Night (Review)
Reviews Contain Spoilers
In the latest episode of The Legend of Korra, Avatar Korra, after being pressured into it by the press, becomes part of a task force determined to get rid of the equalist movement. Meanwhile, her pro-bending teammate Mako nearly has an auto accident with Asami, the daughter of Hiroshi Sato, the founder of Future Industries, maker of the Satomobile. After learning of his money related worries of not making it to the pro-bending championship, Future Industries decides to sponsor Korra and Mako’s pro-bending team.
After defeating a small group of equalists Korra makes an announcement to equalist leader, Amon, to meet her for a one-on-one battle on Aang Memorial Island. Instead of meeting alone, Amon ambushes her, but instead of taking away her bending abilities he doesn’t and tells her he doesn’t want to make her a martyr. He then knocks her out. After waking up she confronts her mentor, Tenzin, and opens up to him stating how scared she was and how scared she has been of Amon and what has been happening.
I really enjoyed this episode. I like that we see that Korra is flawed and has a lot of learning and growing to do. Like Aang before her she too is afraid of what her final outcome may be. Amon and the equalists grow more and more intimidating and I’m wondering what is going to happen with Mako’s new friend Asami. Also, after being knocked out by Amon, Korra sees a vision of an intense, older-looking Aang (pictured above), as well as Sokka and Toph. What could this vision mean and why was it shown to her? We don’t know but it definitely gets me excited to find out. The show is getting really good.

The Fate of Fringe
We are thrilled and beyond grateful that Fox — and our fans — have made the impossible possible: Fringe will continue into a fifth season that will allow the series to conclude in a wild and thrilling way. (J.J. Abrams on Fringe being renewed for a fifth and final season)
You heard right. Fringe has been renewed for one FINAL season consisting of 13 episodes. Honestly, 5 seasons is a really good run. Sometimes shows stay on the air way too long and end up sucking after awhile. Let’s hope this series ends off well.
