This poster may be implying a stronger focus on Rick Grimes’ son Carl in the second half of season 4. It would make sense if they’re following the “Here We Remain” arc from the comics which followed the Governor’s attack on the prison. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what they do.
Those who keep up with the comic know the name Negan, the latest villain in the series who made his first physical appearance in the heart-stopping Walking Dead #100. Well, writer Robert Kirkman has confirmed that he will be making his way on to The Walking Dead TV series saying “The plan is that we will see him eventually.”
Since the show just wrapped up The Governor’s story line I doubt we will be seeing Negan anytime soon. Plus, if they follow the comics there is still a lot of foundation to be built in the show before they get to that part. Although, while the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead stayed very true to the source material the TV series as a whole has differed in many ways from the comics. So who knows when Negan will actually show up.

I usually add the solicitation descriptions for each book here but I’m too lazy this week. Sorry. I’ll be more functional next week. I promise.
Next week’s Walking Dead episode entitled “Live Bait” will focus on The Governor and will hopefully give us some answers about where he’s been the past four episodes. Check out the image from that episode above. He doesn’t look very happy.
“Live Bait” airs on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
